Kidnapped 2 By Neko Part 6 The sun came up and the island about 6 am. Katy was already up; she walked out of her hut and was greeted by Meko. “Where is Romeo? We had plans today.” Meko said. “Well his is still asleep. I will wake him for you. But before I do promise me one thing.” Katy said. “Sure, what is it?” Meko asked. “Take it easy on him. He’s a city boy.” Katy begged. “I give you my word I will try to make it as easy as I can.” Meko said. “Well don’t make it too easy for him. I want him to feel like he did something.” Katy said. “Okay, why don’t you get him and all his friends.” Meko said walking off. “Okay.” Katy replied. “Tell them to meet us down on the beach when they’re ready.” Meko said. Katy was about to go into her hut when Mandy came out. “What’s going on? It’s 6:30.” Mandy asked. “It’s daylight, time to get up.” Katy said. “You’re all nuts.” Mandy said. “Maybe but you need to wake up Lance and JC so they can go hunting with the guys.” Katy said. “Okay I’ll get them up all right.” Mandy said with a smile then went back into her hut. Mandy went skipping back into her and Lance’s room. Lance was lying there sleeping peacefully. Mandy thought for a minute then she got an idea. Mandy got up on the bed and started to jump up and down. Lance rolled over and pulled his pillow over his head. “Wake up sunshine.” Mandy laughed still jumping up and down. “No sunshine.” Lance said from under the pillow. “Come on your going to be late for your play date with the other boys.” Mandy said. “What?” Lance asked pulling the pillow off his head then looked up at her. “You said you were going hunting with the guys.” Mandy said. “Oh yeah.” Lance said in a sleepy moan. Lance sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. “This should be a trip.” He said. “Why is that?” Mandy asked. “I can see us as being the out door type.” Lance laughed putting his pants on. “Well I have to go get JC too. So I’ll be back.” Mandy said leaving. She walked over to Kim and JC’s room then knocked loudly on the door. She could hear Kim moan inside. “Who is it?” Kim asked. “Its Mandy, JC needs to wake up so he can go with the guys.” Mandy said. “Okay, I’ll get him up.” Kim said then rolled over. She poked JC a few time and he moaned but didn’t wake up. “Get up your going to be late.” Kim said. “So?” JC moaned. “Don’t make me hurt you.” Kim said. JC remained quite. “Have it your way.” Kim said pushing JC as hard as she could until he fell out of bed. Mandy heard the thud as JC hit the floor. “What was that?” Mandy asked. “That was JC, he’s up now.” Kim said then rolled over and went back to sleep. JC lay on the floor for a few minutes. Then he got to his feet. He popped his back and slipped some clean clothes on. He looked over and his sleeping girlfriend. He went over to a table where a wash bowl a pitcher of water was. He calmly cleaned his face then looked back at Kim again. “That’s not fair.” JC said. “What?” Kim moaned. “If I have to wake up so do you.” JC said but before Kim could answer JC walked over to her and poured the pitcher of water on her. Kim jumped up as the cool water ran over her. She sat up and brushed her wet hair out of her eyes. “That was mean.” She wined. “Oh and knocking me out of bed wasn’t?” JC asked. “That was different, that was you.” Kim said. “Now that’s harsh.” JC said. “I know but you love me.” Kim said. JC smiled. “You can go back to sleep if you want.” JC said. “I can’t now I’m all wet and the bed’s all wet.” Kim said getting out of bed. “I better go; I’ll see you later.” JC said giving Kim a kiss on the cheek as he left. JC met Lance in the main room. “Are you ready?” Lance asked. “Yeah I think so.” JC said. With that the two of them left. AS they got out side then stopped. “Should we wait for Justin?” Lance asked. “Yeah we better.” JC said. The two of them headed over to Katy hut. Lance knocked on the side of it. “Who is it?” Katy asked. “Lance and JC.” JC said. “Is Justin ready?” Lance asked. “Yeah, I’m coming guys.” Justin said then stepped out the door. Katy rushed to his side and gave him a kiss on the cheek. “For good luck.” Katy said then went back in her hut. Justin, Lance, and JC all headed for the beach. When they got there the others were all ready to go. “Are you ready?” Meko asked. “Yeah, let’s go.” Justin said. And with that they headed in the woods. JC walked beside Joey who seemed to be still half-asleep. “Are you okay, man?” JC asked. “Yeah, but I thought that this trip would get us away from these early wake up calls.” Joey said. “Yeah, well man, it’s just a part of life.” JC said. Joey yawned and looked at his friend. Then shook his head. Chris came running up to Meko. “Hey what are you going to kill?” Chris asked. “Whatever we can find.” Meko said. “What are we going to use?” Justin asked. Meko looked at him then at Chris. “I can teach you guys to shoot a bow or throw a spear, but you can us this.” Meko said handing Chris a small blowgun. Chris looked at the tiny thing in his hand then up at Meko again. “You have to be kidding me, why do they get to use the cool things and I have to use this?” Chris asked. “The man’s not dumb he doesn’t want you to have anything that could kill some one.” Lance said. “Oh, come on I’m afraid I’m going to break this thing.” Chris said. “Chris when you can show me that you can handle a real weapon. Then I’ll let you try.” Meko said. “But I can’t kill anything with this.” Chris wined. “I know.” Meko said. “It’s okay, Chris we trust you.” Joey said patting Chris on the back then laughing. Chris gave Joey a smirk. “If I can’t kill anything how is that going to help?” Chris asked. “Those darts have a tranquilizer in them you can put anything to sleep then we will help you kill it.” Meko said. “Oh.” Chris said examining the tube in his hand. “How do I fire it?” Chris asked pointing it at Meko. Meko quick placed his hand on it and pushed it any. “Please don’t point that at me.” Meko said. “Sorry.” Chris said. Meko took the thing from him. “You blow in this end.” Meko said pointing to one end of it. “Oh.” Chris said once Meko had handed it back to him. Chris went to shoot it but Meko stopped him. “Not yet.” Meko said. Chris stopped. They walked till they came to a small clearing. “We can practice here first.” Meko said. He set down a bag of stuff he had had on his back. He pulled out a bow and some arrows a long with a few spears. He handed a spear to Lance. “Now throw it and try to hit that tree.” Meko said pointing to a tree not too far away. Lance looked at him then at the tree. The throw the spear missing the tree totally. “We may be here awhile.” Meko said. “Let me try.” Joey said. Meko handed him a spear and again pointed to the same tree. Joey nicked it. “Not bad.” Meko said then handed a spear to both Justin and JC. They took turns tossing theirs at the tree. Justin just missed and JC was way off. Chris begged for a chance to try but Meko still refused to let him try. They spent an hour practicing. Finally Meko decided to go ahead with the hunt and let them learn as they go. It wasn’t long till they came across a bunny. “Aw what a cute bunny.” JC asked. “That my friend is dinner now get as close as you can them throw the spear at it and try to hit it.” Meko told them. Then watched as they tried to stab the poor bunny. Meko couldn’t help but laugh at them. Finally after much confusion Justin got it. Justin picked up the died bunny and handed it to Meko who wrapped it up and placed it in his pack. “It takes a little more than that to feed the camp.” Meko said. “Okay we’ll get other one.” JC said. With that they went deeper into the woods to find another bunny for dinner. “Hey, look there’s a bunny.” Lance whispered. “Great go get it.” Meko said. Chris wanted off to the side while the other chased the bunny around. For some reason the bunny started to run right for Chris. Chris wasn’t sure what to do, but he brought the tiny blowgun to his lips then blew through it. The tiny dart came flying out of the tube but missed the bunny. Instead it hit Joey in the butt. Joey had turned around to say something to Meko so he had had his backside to Chris. Before Joey could react to the prick to his behind the tranquilizers got to him and he collapsed on the forest floor. “And that Chris is why I would not give you a real weapon.” Meko laughed. When the others saw what had happen they to started to laugh. Chris walked over to where Joey was laying and pulled another dart out of his pocket. Chris looked the tiny thing over. He was amazed at how such a tiny thing could have done that. Chris slowly brought his finger to the point. “No, don’t do that.” Meko yelled but before he could get it all out Chris poked himself with the dart and fell to the ground beside Joey. Lance couldn’t contain himself, he burst out laughing. “This has been a trip.” Meko sighed. “What are we going to do with them?” JC asked. “Well it will take about an hour for that stuff to where off.” Meko said. “So what are we going to do? Wait?” Lance asked. “No, as soon as we get what we need we’ll drag them back to camp.” Meko said. “Then we’re all ready to go.” JC said holding up the bunny. “Hey, wow. You got it.” Lance said. “Very good now lets go back now.” Meko said. Meko and Justin grabbed Joey and Lance and JC got Chris then they all headed back to camp. It took them 30 minutes to walk back. When they got back the girls were doing up dishes and cleaning clothes. The guys who had stayed at camp were busy fixing some of the huts. They stopped at the fire where Katy and Brandi were. They set Joey down softly on the sand. Lance and JC just dropped Chris. “What happened?” Katy asked. “Chris shot Joey with a tranquilizer.” Lance said. “Then what happened to him?” Brandi asked. “Oh, then he stuck himself with a dart.” JC said. “You have to be kidding me.” Katy said. “Nope. Here you ladies go.” Meko said handing Katy the two bunnies. “Gee, most guys give flowers.” Brandi said. Katy smiled at her friend. “So what do you want me to do with them?” Katy asked. “I thought rabbit stew sounded good.” Meko said. “Okay.” Katy said setting the bunnies down on a flat piece of wood. “Hey, why don’t you come with me and I’ll introduce you to the other guys.” Meko said. “Okay,” JC said following Meko. “What about these two?” Lance asked pointing at Joey and Chris. “Leave them the sun will do them good.” Katy said. “Okay, babe. Talk to you later.” Justin said as he and Lance took off after Meko and JC. Katy watched them walk down beach then she pulled out a knife and started to skin the bunnies. That’s when Mandy came over and sat down on one of the stumps. Mandy looked at Katy then at the bleeding bunnies. “Awe, poor things.” Mandy said. “It’ll be okay.” Brandi said. “Yeah we have to eat.” Katy said looking at Mandy. “I know but it’s different when you go to the store and pick up meat you don’t get to see this part.” Mandy explained. “I see.” Katy said going back to her work. Mandy looked past then at Joey and Chris who were still fast asleep. “What happened to them?” Mandy asked. Brandi briefly explained to her what Meko had told them. Mandy laughed. “They look so sweet when they’re sleeping.” Mandy asked. “Where’s nothing sweet about those two. But that reminds me of what Nicoma told me last night.” Brandi said. “What did she tell you?” Katy asked. “She’s likes Joey.” Brandi said. “She really has been on this island too long.” Katy said. “I think they would make a cute couple.” Mandy said. “They would I guess. Nicoma really needs to date more. We should hook them up.” Katy said after thinking about it. “If you think it’s a good idea.” Brandi said. “Yeah sure why not. If it doesn’t work out then they won’t have to see each other again. It’s not like Joey would come back here for no reason.” Katy said. “Okay, we’ll hook them up.” Brandi said. “Do you think Justin will come back to see you?” Mandy asked. “I hope so; it’s like I said in my letters. I don’t know if I can leave here.” Katy said. “Chris is such a dork.” Brandi said trying to change the subject. “Why is that?” Mandy asked. “Anyone who can knock himself out with a dart is a loser.” Brandi explained. “You dated him.” Katy said. “Hey, we weren’t dating he had a girlfriend.” Brandi said. “Whatever.” Mandy said. “Why aren’t you together now?” Katy asked. “I have a boyfriend. His name is Akiko. And he ... well he’s real protective of me. He’d kill Chris if I cheated on him.” Brandi said. “Oh, why do you date guys like that?” Katy asked. “He seemed sweet at first and I can’t blame him for wanted to look out for me. He cares about me so much; he’d just take it too far that’s all.” Brandi said. “Hey, you know what I have some face paint right over there. We could have a little fun with sleeping beauty.” Katy said pointing to a bag she had set on one of the logs. Mandy ran over and got it. She pulled out the face paint. “Let’s do it.” Mandy said. “Okay.” Brandi said taking the green face paint from her. Mandy and Brandi went over to were Chris was, while Katy finished the rabbit stew. Katy watched them closely. Brandi took his shirt off and laid it on the ground next to him then they started to color his face, chest and arms with the paint. At first they were drawing little shapes but in the hot sun it started to melt and Chris was becoming slowly rainbow colored. They didn’t want Joey to feel left out so they drew a smiley face on his cheek. Katy had gotten to stew ready and had set it next to the fire to cook. She heard the sound of people talking. She looked up and saw the guys come back down the beach headed their way. Nicoma and Kim were with them. They had gone out to gather wild fruit for dinner and were on their way back into camp. Katy stud up and greeted them as they got closer. “Dinner smells great.” Justin said putting his arm around her. “Thanks.” Katy said. “What are you two doing?” Lance asked Mandy and Brandi when he saw what they were doing. JC started laughing. “We’re making him look pretty.” Mandy said. “He’s going to kill you two, I hope you know.” Kim said setting the basket of fruit down. “He’ll get over it.” Brandi said. “I have to say he kind of had it coming.” Meko said. “I can’t believe you let them do that.” JC said to Katy. “Hey, I didn’t let them do anything. I just told them were the paint was.” Katy said. “I can’t wait to see what he says when he wakes up.” Justin laughed. “That should be soon.” Meko said looking at his watch. “I’d love to stay but I have some things to do. But it was great hanging out with you guys.” Meko said. “Yeah, we got things to do too. We had fun thanks.” JC said. “Don’t minchen it. See you later.” Meko said taking off for his hut. “Hey, does anyone have a camera?” Lance asked. “Why?” Mandy asked. “Some one should really take a picture of him.” Lance said pointing to Chris. “I think I have one.” Nicoma said. “Great go get it, hurry.” Justin asked. Nicoma took off for her hut to get it. A few minutes pasted then Joey’s eye began to move under his eyelids. He slowly opened them. He looked around in confusion, as he couldn’t remember where he was. “Joey are you okay?” Nicoma asked getting back with her camera. “Yeah, I think so.” Joey said looking over at Chris. The Joey took his hand a rubbed his cheek where Mandy and Brandi had drawn. As he felt something cool on his cheek he pulled his hand away and looked at it. “Why do I have purple stuff on my cheek?” Joey asked still very confused. “Well it was a smiley face but now it’s just a purple smir.” Mandy said putting her hands on her hips. Joey looked at Chris again. “Please tell me I don’t look like that.” Joey said. “No, we were nice to you.” Brandi said. Justin and JC helped Joey off the ground. “Hurry, Nicoma take the picture before he wakes up.” Katy said. Nicoma looked at her then at Chris. She snapped his picture then stuck the camera in her pocket. “Are you okay, Joey?” Nicoma asked. “Yeah. I’m fine but my butt is just a little bit swore. “Joey that’s too much info.” Brandi said covering her ears. “But she asked.” Joey said pointing to Nicoma. Nicoma smiled but said nothing. “As soon as dip weed wakes up we should talk about the video.” JC said taking a seat on one of the logs. Kim sat down next to him a rested her head in his shoulder. They all sat down and waited for Chris to come to. Kim looked at her watch. “Are you sure he’s not dead?” Kim asked. “No, he’s breathing, I think.” Katy said. “Poke him with a stick and see if he moves.” Brandi said. “No, that’s mean.” Nicoma said. “Awe man, I’ll do it.” Joey said picking up and stick and since Joey was sitting closest to him he just leaned over a poked him a few times. Chris moaned a little but didn’t wake up. So Joey did it again. Finally after w few try's. Chris’s eyes finally opened. Chris looked around at everyone. “What are you all looking at?” Chris asked. “We can’t figure it out.” JC said. Chris noted that he felt sticky and then looked down at his hands. He studied them for a few seconds then looked up at everyone again. “Why am I colorful?” Chris asked still a little messed up form the dart. Mandy handed Chris a mirror and Chris looked in it. “You guys are mean.” Chris wined getting to his feet. “I didn’t do it.” Lance said. “I’m all sticky.” Chris said holding his arms out so they wouldn’t stick to his body. “I think it’s an improvement.” Brandi said standing up. “Really, How about a hug?” Chris said but before Brandi could say no or move, Chris wrapped his arms around her a squeezed her. Smearing paint on her too. “I know you did it but who helped you?” Chris asked refusing to let her go. “Mandy.” Brandi said half laughing. Chris let go over her and started to make his way to Mandy. “No, stay away. Lance help me!” Mandy screamed jumping on Lance’s lap. Lance laughed. “He can’t help you.” Chris said pulling Mandy off Lance’s lap. Lance was laughing too hard to help her. Chris wrapped his arms around her and squeezed her too. Then he let go and faced Katy. “I know this is your paint.” He said. “Hey, I’m just the supplier.” Katy said. “Okay, I’ll take it easy on you if you tell me how to get this stuff off.” Chris said. “There’s an ocean right over there. I’d go get in it if I were you.” Katy said pointing to the beach. Chris started to make is way to the water. “Wait for me.” Brandi yelled running after him. Chris stopped at looked at her as she came running for him. “I’ll race you.” Brandi said running past him. Chris took off after her and the two of them ran clear to the water. Chris declared himself the winner just before Brandi dunked him under the water. Mandy turned and looked at Lance who was still laughing at her. “Oh, Lance your my hero.” Mandy said sitting back down on his lap. “Gee, thanks.” Lance said as Mandy press herself against him rubbing some of the paint on him. “I love you.” Mandy said. Lance looked her in the eyes then smiled. “I love you too.” Lance said then kissed her. Once their kiss was over they too took off for the water. “Hurry back we really need to talk about the video, and tell Chris and Brandi that too.” JC yelled after them. Lance gave him a wave so that he would know that he had heard him. The others sat and watched them for a few minutes. They watched lance pick up Mandy and spin her around few times. The he set her back down in the water. Brandi and Chris had washed off quickly and had already rejoined the group. They too were watching Mandy and Lance. “Those to worry me.” Brandi said finally. “Why is that?” Kim asked. “They’ve been apart for a year and just by looking at them you’d think that they had never been apart.” Brandi explained. “They’re in love.” Katy said softly rubbing Justin’s leg. Justin smiled at her but said nothing. “Yeah, but how to you know that, how do you know that this isn’t just a fling?” Brandi asked. “You just know when you’re in love. It’ll feel so right.” Chris said trying to hint to her his feelings. Brandi studied him for a moment. “Yeah, well I guess I wouldn’t know anything about that.” Brandi said. “Okay, lets do this thing.” Lance said making his way up the beach with Mandy at his side. “Yeah.” Mandy said in agreement. They took their seats and the talk began. “What song are we going to do?” Katy asked. “I want to ‘That’s when I’ll stop loving you’.” Chris said before anyone else could speak. It was clear he had put much thought in it. “Okay, does everyone like that idea?” JC asked trying to keep thing rolling. “Yeah, that sounds like a great song.” Kim said. “I’m sorry but I’m not much of an Nsync fan, how does that song go?” Nicoma asked. “Well it goes a little like this...1..2..3.” Justin said then they all began to sing a little bit of it for her. Nicoma listened carefully to them and when they were done she clapped happily. “That’s a very good song for an island shoot.” Nicoma said. “Okay, then that’s the one we’ll do right?” Lance asked. No one seemed to object so they went on with the talk. “What are some Ideas for shoots?” Joey asked eating an apple he had grabbed out of one of the baskets. “Well there’s the waterfall, and I know of a beautiful cliff we could use.” Katy said. “There always the beach shoot again.” Mandy said. “Yeah, we could use that as the group shoot, I think.” JC said. Nicoma thought for a few seconds. “I know of some places you could use.” She said. “Really what do they look like?” Chris asked. “Well it hard to describe them, but one is a field of wild flowers and the other is this place that I go to a lot by myself, it’s a lovely place. I can show then to you tomorrow if you like.” Nicoma said. “Yeah, why not.” Justin said. “Okay then. I guess then we can think about it some more and we’ll talk again tomorrow.” Katy said. “Sounds like a great idea. When’s dinner?” Joey asked. “After sun down.” Katy said. “But I’ll starve before then.” Joey wined. “Have another apple.” Katy said getting anoid with him. Joey looked at her then grabbed another apple and took a bite of it. “So now what do we do?” Kim asked. “We start setting up the stuff we really need to start shooting like tomorrow at best.” JC said. “Okay, what are you guys going to wear in the video?” Mandy asked. “I don’t know why?” Lance asked. “Well it’s an island thing so I think you should wear one of those neat deerskin things like Meko wears.” Mandy said. “A loincloth?” Katy asked. “Yeah.” Mandy said. Lance raised one eyebrow at her. “You have to be kidding.” Lance said. “No, I’m not mister.” Mandy said putting her hands on her hip. Lance laughed. “We’ll see.” He said not wanting to argue with her right now. “Come with me and I’ll show you what all we got.” JC said to Katy. “Okay.” Katy said following him to his hut. A few of the others came too. But Joey, Nicoma, and Chris stayed by the fire. Chris looked out over the water he could tell that there were a few hours left till sun down. Nicoma came over at sat next to Joey. “Hi.” She said in a soft voice. “Hi, you don’t talk too much do you?” Joey asked. “No, I’m a little shy.” Nicoma said. “Oh, that’s cool.” Joey said taking a bite of his apple. “So tell me more about you and your friends.” Nicoma said wanting to really hear more about him than anything. Chris could tell she was hitting on him and Joey kind of knew it to. But Joey had always been the one, who had been doing the hitting, so this was new to him. “I better go see what the others are doing.” Chris said in order to get away so they could talk. “Bye, Chris.” Nicoma said. “Yeah, bye.” Joey said then turned to face Nicoma. “Well what do you want to know?” He asked. “Oh, just anything.” Nicoma said. So at first Joey wasn’t sure what to talk about so he started off by talking about Nsync. Then he got to talking more about himself, but Nicoma didn’t seem to care she listened carefully to his every word. “I must be boring you.” Joey said. “Oh, know please go on.” Nicoma said. “No, how about you tell me about yourself.” Joey said. “Um, okay.” Nicoma said then thought for a minute. She started to tell him about her parents and stuff. The two of the talked of some time. Meanwhile in JC’s hut. They had gotten everything out and laid it on the floor. Kim picked up the camera and looked at it. “This is a really nice camera, JC.” Kim said. “Yeah, it’s Joey’s he always has the best camera.” JC said. “When can you get the computer?” Katy asked. “Whenever we need it, I’ll just have to make a phone call.” JC said. “Do you have a phone?” Lance asked. “Well yeah, a cell phone.” Katy said. “You can use those here?’ Lance asked. “Well not here but if you go up in the cliffs you get a great signal.” Katy said. “Oh, we’ll have to go up there in a few days so I can make that call then.” JC said. “It’s okay with your friends Rodney that we use his place, right?” Justin asked. “Yeah I kind of ran it by him when he was here but I can call him later and asked him again.” Katy said. “Okay, then I think that’s it we are ready to start whenever we choose.” JC said. “JC, hunny, what about the music?” Kim asked. “Oh, man. I knew I forgot something.” JC said stomping his foot. “Relax sparky, I got it covered.” Chris said coming in the hut. “What do you mean?” JC asked. “I knew you had for got something when you left so I grabbed my small boom box when Justin and me left to join you. I even thought to get batteries.” Chris explained. “Well where is it?” Kim asked. “With my stuff in Meko’s hut. I’ll get it later.” Chris said. “Okay, let’s go it’s getting late and we have to get dinner ready.” Katy said. “Okay.” Mandy said then they all followed Katy out side. As they got closer to the fire where they had left Joey and Nicoma they stopped. “Man, I knew this was going to happen.” Brandi said when she saw what was going on. Joey and Nicoma were in the middle of kissing. Joey had his arms around her and she had her arms around him. Joey was running hands trough her silky red hair and Nicoma would pause form kissing for a moment a laugh. Joey picked her up and placed her on his lap then kissed her again and rubbed his hand on her leg. “I can’t watch this.” Brandi said then walked off. “ I can’t believe their doing this, they just meet.” Katy wined. “Now Katy as I recall you kissed me the day after you meet me.” Justin said with a smile. “That was different.” Katy said. “Really how?” Justin asked. “That was you and this is Joey.” Katy said as if that were a reasonable excuse. “You know I remember that night.” Justin said and they started to walk down the beach, to leave Joey and Nicoma some space. “I do to; you were in heat or something.” Katy said. “Yeah, I guess I was.” Justin laughed. “But you know what I never felt that way around any other woman.” He added. “You’re lying.” Katy said poking him in the side. “No, I’m not.” Justin said. “Yeah whatever.” Katy said. “You know Justin it would be neat to know what each of you guys thought that first night we kidnapped you.” Katy said. “That would be a neat thing to know. The guys and me never really talked about how we felt at first; we always talked about how we felt once we got to know you.” Justin said. “So what did you think of me that night?” Katy asked. Justin thought for a moment. “Well when I saw you at the club I thought you were the most beautiful girl there that night, but after we got you your house and I found out what it was you were doing, I got confused.” Justin said. “You mean you got mad, right?” Katy said. “No, I never really got mad, well okay maybe a little mad but I was more confused than anything. I had been so entranced by you I really couldn’t think straight.” Justin said. “Oh, I see we’ll have to ask the others at dinner.” Katy said. The two of them stopped and looked out over the water at the now setting sun. “It really is wonderful here.” Justin said. “I know it is, Justin but when this is all done you can’t stay here.” Katy said. Justin turned to her shocked by what she had just said. “What do you mean?” Justin asked. Katy turned and looked him in the eye. “You have to go back to the US and tour with the guys; it wouldn’t be Nsync with out you. I know this place is hard to leave, and maybe in time I can tare myself away from here and visit you.” Katy said. “No, I want you to be happy and I can see that this place makes you happy. I don’t want you to ever leave here. I will come to you, I promise.” Justin said. Katy was moved by him wanting her to be happy. She hugged him and kissed him. “You guys it dinnertime.” Mandy said. Katy looked at her then at Justin they had been so moved by their talk that they had lost track of the time. By the time they got back to the fire everyone was there and had their plates. Katy and Justin got theirs and quickly joined the circle. “What were you two doing?” Lance asked. “We were just talking.” Justin said. “About what?” Kim asked. “Last summer.” Katy said. “Why?” Joey asked. “I don’t know but we got to talking about what it was that went through my head when I realized we were being kidnapped.” Justin said taking a bite. “Really and what was that?” JC asked. “I don’t really remember what I was thinking but I remember being really confused.” Justin said. “After we got to talking about it we wanted to ask you guys what was going through your minds last summer, when it all started?” Katy asked. The group got quiet as the guys thought back to that summer. “I remember getting of the plane in Orlando,” Lance said, “As I was coming out Mandy stopped me and asked me something, the next thing I knew you pushed into a car and knocked me out with something. I was so scared I thought I was being mugged.” The group listened as Lance recapped the kidnapping in his own words. “When I came to Mandy was next to me and like I said I was scared and I wanted to get away so I started to kick and stuff, but the next thing I knew Katy pointed a gun at me so I stopped. Then you guys forced me into the house and down the steps where you chained me up. I just wanted to be at home safe in my bed at that point. But the thing I hated most about it at first was that I was alone with you and I didn’t know who you were. I was somewhat happy when you got Chris” Lance continued. “I’m sorry Lance.” Mandy said. “No, it’s okay. It turned out all right in the end.” Lance said putting his hands on her knee. “Okay now who wants to go?” Katy asked. “I’ll go next since I was the next one you got.” Chris said. Chris thought for a moment. “Let’s see I was working with my clothing line and I had just gotten off work and was on my way to my car. This all happened so fast but as I was walking by an alley some one pushed me into it then some one else grabbed me and put something over my mouth and I passed out. When I came to I was in this strange place and Lance was asleep on the couch next to me. I was so confused. So I threw something at him and woke him up.” Chris said. “And then you started screaming your head off.” Brandi said. “Well I was scared too and I couldn’t think of anything better. Which two was it that jumped me that night?” Chris asked. “It was me and Katy,” Brandi said, “I remember because we had to put you in the trunk of Katy’s car so on one would see you.” Brandi said. “You put me in the trunk?” Chris asked. “Yeah, sorry, we kind of hit your head too when we were getting you out.” Katy said. Chris just sat there with a blank look on his face. “Okay, who’s next?” Chris said after his pause. “JC, it’s your turn.” Kim said. “Okay,” JC said, “The night you came and got me I was watching a movie and the power went out in my house. I got up to see what was wrong when I noted that the house next to me still had power. I didn’t think anything about it until two of you came into the room and attacked me. I was scared because I thought you were trying to kill me or something. I know one of the two was Mandy because me and her got to fighting on the floor. But then another person hit me over the head with something and then I pasted out. I came to some time in the night. I was in a strange place and Lance and Justin were setting beside me. They were sleeping. I was going to wait until they woke up but I soon became very sleep and I must have fell asleep again. The next time I woke up is when Justin and Joey had their fight and had knocked me to the floor.” Now everyone looked at Joey. “Hey, I think I made it very clear that day how I felt.” Joey said thinking back to the fight he and Justin had had. “Yes, well you did.” Mandy said. “I was beyond mad, but I know now that it was just as much my fault I had gotten caught as it was Justin's” Joey said. The group seemed to agree. That’s when Meko came over. “Are you guys going hunting again tomorrow?” Meko asked. “No, I think not. We have other things we really need to do. But thanks any way.” JC said. “I understand.” Meko said then wished them all good night before leaving to go to his hut. “We should really do the same.” Kim said. “Yes, we should.” JC said getting up. “Okay, when we all get up in the morning let’s meet here and then I will show you the places I was talking about.” Nicoma said. “Okay, good night everyone.” Katy said. With that they all turned in for the night, knowing full well that they had a lot to do in the morning.
