When Mandy came to in the morning, she woke to find Lance missing. Afraid he’s left she head quickly to the Living room. Once there she saw Lance behind the bar in the kitchen cooking breakfast. Joey was eating French toast and JC was drinking coffee. They turned and looked at her. “Good morning.” Lance said. “Good morning.” Mandy said taking a set next to JC at the bar. Lance handed her a plate. “Eat,” He said, “You’re getting too thin.” Mandy smiled at him then took a bit.

“Who are we going to get first?” Joey asked. “Kim closer.” But I think Brandi may no where Katy is. She has to know more than me.” Mandy said. “Okay we’ll go get Kim then Brandi.” Lance said. JC smiled at the thought of seeing Kim again but wandered if she still held the same feelings for him. “Tell me something.” Mandy said. “What?” Lance asked. “Why on earth did you guys give those companies that we stole from you money?” Mandy asked.

Lance looked at JC. “It was Justin’s idea; He thought that if the companies were no longer looking for you that you’d come back. But he was upset when you never showed up.” JC explained. “That’s because I just found out.” Mandy said. “Really we did that a few months ago.” Lance said. “Yeah, well news travels slow. I found out because Brandi wrote me and she said she went to pay it back but had already paid them.” Mandy said.
“Should you call Kim or something and tell her we’re coming?” Joey asked. “I think I’d better not. I’m not sure what her take on seeing you again would be. If she doesn’t want to see you guys and I tell her she’ll leave and you said you need all of us for the new video right?” Mandy said. “Right.” Lance said. JC got up and walked over to the phone. “I need to get us some plane tickets, where are we going?” JC asked. “Germany.” Mandy said. JC gave her a funny look but then turned and dialed a number.

Once Mandy was done Lance took her plate a carried it to the sink where he washed it and put it away. Then he made his way around the bar and sat in JC set next to Mandy. “I’ve missed you so much.” He said. “I missed you too. I can’t tell you how sorry I am for leaving like I did.” Mandy said. “Why didn’t you tell us that night you were leaving?” Joey asked. Lance looked at her waiting for her to answer.

“Katy said it would only make it harder for us to leave if we told you. And we really had no choice but to leave that night.” Mandy explained. “Your right it would have been harder. I don’t think I could have let you go had I known.” Lance said. “See, but you do know that I had to, right?” Mandy asked. “Yeah I know.” Lance said.

“Okay flights at noon.” JC said hanging up the phone. “I need to pack.” Mandy said getting up and running back into her room. “What all do I need to take?” Mandy asked. “I don’t know where are me going?” Lance asked going to help her pack. “Germany, Australia and some where in Brazil.” Mandy said. “Okay, Germany is kind of cold but the other two are hot. So take a little bit of very thing.” Lance said watching her go through her closet.

It was 11:00 o’clock when they left for the airport. At noon they were on their way to Germany. JC couldn’t help but think what Kim would say when he saw her again. He hoped she’d be happy like Mandy was to see Lance. At 2 the landed in Germany. “Okay now where?” JC asked flagging down a cab. They all could fit in one so JC and Joey rode in one and Mandy and Lance rode in another. JC and Joey had no clue where they were going so the told the driver to follow Mandy and Lance and he did.

It wasn’t long till the cabs rolled to a stop in front of a fairly new building. JC and Joey stepped out and JC looked up at the tall building. “She lives on the 15th floor.” Mandy said. They headed into the building to find it only had stairs. “You mean we have to walk all the way up there?” Joey asked. “Yup.” Mandy said. Joey set out a little sigh up the he picked up his things and followed the rest of them up the steps.

When they reached the 15th floor they turned right and went down a hallway all the way to the end until they came to a door. JC looked at the mailbox. It said Elise. “Is that her name now?” JC asked pointing to the box. “Yeah but I still call her Kim.” Mandy said. JC seemed to get it. Mandy knocked. For a minute JC thought no one was home but then he heard Kim talk. “Who is it?” Kim said. “Kim its Mandy.” Mandy said. “I thought you were up last week?” Kim said opening the door. Kim looked at Mandy then at JC who was staring back at her. For a few minutes no one said anything but then Kim Spoke again. “What’s going on?” Kim asked with the look of confusion on her face.

“Let us come in and I’ll explain every thing to you.” Mandy said. Kim stepped aside and let them all pass. Kim apartment was nice. She had a ton of things handing from the walls and the furniture was all very new. Once inside they all turned to Kim. “The guys need our help.” Mandy said. “What do you mean they need our help?” Kim asked. “They need us to make them another video, they’ve tried but they can’t do it like we did.” Mandy explained.

“Oh no I’m not doing that again, I’m finally getting my life back and now you want me to ruin it again?” Kim asked. “No Kim, it won’t be like that this time. We have money and so do they we won’t have to steal and it’s not kidnapping this time.” Mandy said. “Please, Kim, We need your help.” JC said. Kim looked at him. He was just as cute as he had been that summer. “I can’t.” Kim said in a low voice. “Oh no, this isn’t going to happen.” Joey said. The room was quite as everyone stared at Joey. “If you don’t do this on your own. Then I’ll make you.” Joey said.

“But you can’t make me do anything I don’t want to.” Kim said. “Watch me.” Joey said stepped closer to her and then grabbed her arm and held it tight. “No, Lance stop him.” Mandy said. Lance looked at his feet then at her he wrapped his arms around her a pulled her close. “We really need this, but don’t worry I won’t let him hurt her.” Lance whispered to her. “But can’t was just talk about this.” Mandy whispered to him. “Yeah maybe later but now we have work to do, maybe in time Kim will come to and Joey won’t have to force her any more.” Lance said.

Mandy looked back at her friend. “Mandy you aren’t going to let them do this are you?” Kim asked trying to get away from Joey. “I can’t stop them.” Mandy said. Kim knew that this was true and there was really nothing Mandy could do for her. Kim turned to JC now. “I can’t believe your okay with this?” Kim said pointing to Joey hand which had a death grip on her. JC looked at her then at Joey. He walked up to them.

JC grabbed Kim’s other arm. “It’s okay Joey I got her.” JC said. Joey looked at her then at him. He gritted his teeth but then he let go. “Watch her JC.” Joey warned. “I said I got her.” JC repeated. JC was happy to be so close to her. “What’s up with him?” Kim asked in a low voice. “Joey…um he hasn’t eaten lunch yet he tends to get moody when he doesn’t eat” JC said. “Then feed him.” Kim said pointing to the kitchen. Joey heard her and went about helping himself to her food.

JC held Kim loosely and Kim knew it won’t be hard for her to get away but yet she didn’t for fear Joey would get up set again. JC pulled her over to a couch. “Sit please.” He said. She looked at him then sat down. Mandy ran over and sat beside her. “It’s going to be okay, JC and Lance won’t let him hurt you. They really need are help.” Mandy explained in a low voice. JC walked over and picked up the phone. “We’re going to Australia right?” JC asked. “Yeah.” Mandy said then turned back to Kim.

“The only way I’ll go is by force; I’m not about to do this again.” Kim said to make it clear to her friend that she would try to get away. “ I understand.” Mandy said. They looked at each other. “What about JC?” Mandy asked. Kim thought for a moment. “If your talking about what we had last summer, I don’t know we’ll have to see. I’ve moved on and left that part of my life behind me. I don’t want to go back but if we can start something new that would be great.” Kim said watching JC talk on the phone.

Joey came over with a bag of chips sat down in a chair. He looked at Kim. Lance came and sat down beside Mandy and out his hand on her leg. It wasn’t long till JC got off the phone. “Okay, we leave for Australia at 7 tonight.” He said rubbing his hand together. “You need to pack, Kim.” Mandy said. Kim got up slowly and Joey watched her carefully. JC came and took her arm, just to put Joey at ease. Kim walked over to her room. JC helped her pack. They hung around her place till 6. Then headed for the airport. There was a slight delay. The plane left the airport at 7:30 p.m. On the plane they made Kim sit between Joey and JC, and Mandy and Lance sat across the isle. They all slept on the plane.
