When a record store opened up in one girls local mall it ends up being more than her lucky day. She is about to go on a dream date with Nsync very own hottie.

Dream Date with JC

While out with friends at a local shopping mall Gabi ran across a huge sign hanging in the window of a record store that had just opened. The sign said, “Win a dream date with Nsync’s JC Chasez. Apply with in.” Gabi smiled and thought how cool it would be to win. After much encouragement from her friends she went in and asked the clerk about it. “I’d say your chances of winning are slim, a hundred girls most have signed up today alone.” Said the cute guy behind the counter. “It never hurts to try right?” Gabi asked. The guy smiled and then handed her the entry from and pointed to the drop box. “Thank you so much.” Gabi said. “What’s your name?” He asked. “Gabi.” She said then ran over to the box, where she quickly filled it out and dropped it in.

With that out of the way she joined her friends back out in the hall and they went on their way. A few weeks past and Gabi had forgotten about the contest. Until she went back to the mall. Once there she just happened to walk by the record store when she noted that some one had written in the winner’s name on the sign. It was her name. At first she didn’t believe her eyes, she went inside to see if some one had made a mistake. The cute guy was behind the counter. He recognized her right away. “You’re very lucky.” He said. “Is this for real, am I going on a date with JC?” She asked. “You sure are, I can’t believe out of all those names you got picked.” He said. Gabi just smiled.

The guy proceeded to give her all the info she needed about the date. It was simple; they would go out to dinner and the come back to the store for a little photo shoot. The whole thing was just publicity for the store but Gabi didn’t care either way she was going to meet JC. “What should I wear?” Gabi asked when he was done. “Nothing too dressy but you do not want to dress too down.” He said. “Oh gee, thanks you so much help.” Gabi said. The guy laughed, “Wear what ever you want to, I’m sure you’ll have a good time.” Gabi smiled and then left.

When the day finally arrived Gabi was so nervous. She hadn’t been on a date in months and this was no normal date this was JC. She decided to go simple but classy. She wore a pair of black dress pant and a cool techno-colored top, which she knew JC would approve of, it almost looked like some of the things he had worn on TV shows.

The limo arrived right on time. Gabi felt the butterflies return. She watched carefully from her second story window as JC got out and walked up to her door. Her mom answered it then yelled for her. “Gabi, your dates here.” She said. Gabi slowly came down the steps, she was so afraid she would trip and fall, and then JC would think she was a big dork. “Our Gabi just think so much of you and your friends.” Her mom explained to JC. “Mom!” Yelled. JC laughed, she clearly was embarrassed by her mother’s comments.

“Shouldn’t we be going?” Gabi asked. “Yeah, you ready?” JC asked. Gabi nodded. “Okay, you kids be careful.” Her mother said. Gabi just groaned and walked out quickly. Once out side JC walked her to the limo. “Is she always like that?” He asked opening the door for her. “Unfortunately.” Gabi said getting in and sliding over to make room for him. JC got in and smiled at her, after all she was very pretty.

“So where are we going?” Gabi asked looking around herself in awe. “Some place nice to eat, what can I say I’m a romantic.” JC explained. “That’s fine, I like that about you.” Gabi said watching in awe as the pop star started to blush. This was going to be fun JC was nothing like she thought he would be.

When they got to the restaurant the TV and camera crews were all ready there ready to get any pictures they could of the two of them, I sure it would all come back to haunt JC. Dinner was a little different, Gabi felt the butterflies=s return as she sat across from JC. She watched him carefully, where was some thing magical about him, being there with her. Something unlike anything Gabi had ever felt before. Gabi had always be okay on dates but this wasn’t just any date it was a date with a guy most teens wanted to get with.

After dinner Gabi could feel something was bothering the handsome man at her side. It was like there was something on his mind. Once inside the limo Gabi got brave. “JC?” Gabi asked sweetly. “Yeah?” JC asked as if coming out of a deep sleep. “I want you to be honest with me.” Gabi said. “Sure.” JC said turning to listen better. “Did you have a good time tonight?’ She asked sincerely. “Yeah, of course, didn’t you?’ JC asked sounding a little worried. He thought he had messed the date up for the lucky contest winner.

“I had a wonderful time, JC. This night was perfect for me and I could never wish for more. But it seemed as though mentally you were somewhere else.” Gabi said. “I’m sorry if it seemed that way.” JC said lowering his head. “It’s okay, I had a wonderful time but I’m worried about you.” Gabi said. JC smiled, “That’s sweet of you but I’m fine.” He said leaning back is his chair.

Suddenly Gabi didn’t know what came over her, but in a heart beat she found herself doing something some people would have never done. She pinned JC down, looking deep into her blue eyes. His tiny frame squirmed under her trying to get away but not hurt her. “Let go.” He yelled. “No, JC tell me what’s wrong, It’s not like I’m going to go to the press, I care too much about your music.” Gabi said. “You’re scaring me.” JC said trying to push her off. Gabi let go and quickly got back on her side of the car. “You are crazy.” JC stated.

“And you’re incredibly difficult.” Gabi said. “Just forget about it.” JC said. “Tell me JC, you’ll feel better about it.” Gabi said. “You’re wasting your time.” JC huffed. “I wander what the press will say when I tell them you tried to put the moves over on me?” Gabi said smiling. “You can’t say that, it’s not true.” JC snapped.

“Watch me.” Gabi said crossing her arms. “No, it would be bad for Nsync. You can’t say that to any one.” JC wined. “Then tell me what’s on your mind.” Gabi said sliding closer to him. She rested her head against his shoulder. He was tense but quickly claimed down. “I’ll tell you, but not in the limo, some where we can be completely alone. And you have to promise not to tell any one anything.” JC said, then signed as if a huge weight had been lifted.

Gabi told JC she knew where there was a lake, no one ever went there and they could talk. Once they got there Gabi sat down on a log looking out across the lake. JC joined her. “Okay, Mr. Secret. Let it rip.” Gabi said playfully. JC took a deep breath. He looked around in awe; the young pop star was defiantly out of his element. Gabi listened intently as JC revealed to her what had been bugging him all night. She was in shock by what he told her but promised never the less to keep it just between the two of them.

“You were right about one thing I do feel better now.” JC said smiling. “I’m glad, and this is very serious, I hope everything works out for you.” Gabi said giving JC a hug. His body felt very warm in her tight embarrass. She nearly melted in his arms. This was so amassing.

The two of them headed back to the limo. It was dark now, and Gabi knew her mom would be worried about her being out all night with this strange man. As Gabi was about to get out JC grabbed her hand. “I hope you had a good time, and I’ll keep you posted.” JC said smiling at her. “I had a wonderful time, and I will look forward to hearing from you again. I hope everything works out.” Gabi said. She softly kissed him on his cheek then disappeared into her house.

She watched closely as JC’s limo drove away. She wandered if she would hear from him again. She figured that with all his success he would be too busy to keep in touch with her. JC was surprised when the things they had talked about never turned up in the papers, he had thought after doing it that she would run and sell her story to the first big magazine she could find. He admired her for keeping her word, and wanted more than anything to find away to repay her.

About a month later Gabi received a package in the mail. It was a simple brown box with no return address. Gabi didn’t know what to think. She quickly opened it and looked inside. The biggest smile came across her face. Inside the box were all kinds of things from the tour Nsync was currently on. Put the thing that caught her eye was the envelope that was on top of it all. She picked it up and opened it. A couple of things fell out and hit the floor.

Gabi didn’t bother to pick them up right away. In stead she quickly read the letter. It was from JC. In it he thanked her for her kindness and went on about how everything had turned out okay, but he wanted to see her again, to thank her in person. Gabi smiled and folded the letter and put it away. She reached down to pick up the tickets that had hit the floor. Then dropped them again when she noted something. She gasped in disbelief.

She briefly doubted that it had come from the letter, but know it had to have, because it wasn’t there before. There right on top of her shoe was a small ring. It wasn’t anything fancy, not like an engagement ring, it was her birth stone, something she must have told him while on their date. She picked it up and slipped it on, it was a perfect fit. She couldn’t help but smile. “This is just great, now I’m going to have to do something nice for him again and it’ll go on and on and never end. Hopefully, anyway.” She said to her self
